Biography of Mohamed Sheriff
Mohamed Sheriff writes children books, short stories, novellas, drama for radio, TV and the stage. He has won several national and international awards for his writings including three BBC prizes : Just Me and Mama in 1999 and Spots of the Leopard in 2006[a radio play] and A Voice in Hell also in 1999 [a short story] and co-winner of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Prize for Excellence in Literature in 1999 for his novella, Secret Fear (co-published by Pampana Communications Publishing and Sierra Leonean Writers Series)
